Shirl’s life had humble beginnings in SD…ok, let’s just cut to it…Shirl has been involved with the Minneapolis theater scene for three years.  Her performances include Fonsia in The Gin Game and Hannah in Little Women.    She was seen most recently in her third performance with The Upright Egg Theatre Company—The Chuck Mee Project—where she played Rose the Riveter.  Prior performances with The Upright Egg include Mom in The Afterlife Project at the 2006 Fringe Festival and six different characters in the Company’s spring production, The Love Project.  She has been in several short films, including Children of the Apocolypse and Seeing is Believing. Currently, she is in rehearsal with the Outtakes Improv Troupe. This is her third performance Wide Variety Theater.  Previously, she performed in both Minneapolis and LA in the roles of Edith in Ikke, Ikke, Nye, Nye, Nye, Phyllis Walker in Inner Baby, and Ruth Bensonin Dunelawn.
